Random Five on Friday, May 23rd

1. This afternoon I told Lauren that we'd look for some gum at Trader Joe's. She then asked, "What kind of gum? Gum like xanthan gum or gum like chewing gum?

2. According to Hallmark, the traditional gift for a 20th anniversary is china. I'm thrilled that Tim sent a 1 TB external hard drive instead.

3. As soon as I can get the computer to play nicely with the Time Machine back-up, I can start moving files to the new hard drive and hopefully get the computer to run faster. (Update: I'm pretty sure negotiating world peace might be easier than trying to reach a peace agreement between the iMac and the Time Capsule.)

4. Addison left early, early this morning for her chorus tour. We get email updates from the director, and it looks like they're already off to a fun start.

5. Brennan has spent this week fishing with his grandparents. His biggest catch was a 5 pound catfish (about 24 inches long). They nicely put it in the freezer so I can have some when we visit later this summer.
